Rajinikanth’s Coolie to be shot extensively in this Andhra city | Latest Telugu Cinema News | Movie Reviews

Superstar Rajinikanth’s ongoing action film Coolie is one of the most awaited big films to hit the theatres next year. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial is slated for a Pongal release in January next year. The film’s team has already wrapped up two crucial schedules so far.

As per the latest updates, Coolie’s third schedule kicked off yesterday in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh. Apparently, the unit will be camping in this picturesque beach town to shoot for at least 40 days. Rajini and Shruti Haasan are part of the shoot, along with other prominent stars. As revealed in the announcement teaser, Coolie is set against the backdrop of the gold smuggling mafia and Vizag is undoubtedly the right choice to shoot it, given its vast coastal stretch and iconic fishing harbour.

Coolie is produced by Kalanithi Maran under his Sun Pictures banner. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the soundtrack. The film also features Mahendran, Sathyaraj, Reba Monica John and Kishore Kumar in pivotal roles. Stay tuned for further updates.
