Netflix UK announces seven new TV shows

Netflix UK made a big splash at the Edinburgh TV Festival by unveiling seven new projects that will soon be hitting screens.

Netflix has released documentaries about chef Gordon Ramsay, Take That and even the intense weeks following the 7/7 London bombings.

And if you’re a fan of scripted series, you’ll be happy to hear that there are also two new series in the works: How to Kill Your Family and Legends.

Oh, and there’s more: the spy thriller Black Doves, starring Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw, is returning for a second season, as is the reality hit Love is Blind: UK.

Victoria Beckham: Behind the glamour

Victoria Beckham steps out of the shadow of her Spice Girl persona with an exclusive documentary series about her fashion and beauty empire.
Viewers will get a backstage pass into Victoria’s work as Creative Director and her family life, with unseen footage revealing her personal reinvention. Expect to see David and the kids too.

Gordon Ramsay is

Get ready for a glimpse into the life of one of the world’s most famous chefs. This series follows Gordon Ramsay as he takes on his biggest restaurant challenge yet: opening five new eateries at 22 Bishopsgate in London.

The cameras will also take a look at his family life with his wife Tana and their six children.

Take That: The Ultimate Boyband

Take That fans, this one’s for you! For over 30 years, Gary, Howard and Mark have been Britain’s music queens, with 12 number one hits.

The series features exclusive interviews with the trio, as well as conversations with Jason Orange and Robbie Williams, giving fans an intimate look into the band’s incredible journey.

7/7: Hunting the London Bombers

It is almost 20 years since the July 7 attacks hit Britain. This gripping documentary follows the intense search for those responsible.

Using never-before-seen footage and interviews, the series delves into the aftermath of the attacks and the efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Matchroom: The best showmen

If you love sports, this is not to be missed. This documentary takes viewers inside the world of Matchroom, home to some of the biggest names in sports such as boxing, snooker, darts and even fishing.

Get ready to see Barry and Eddie Hearn up close as they continue to dominate the sports promotions industry.

How to Kill Your Family

The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy stars as Grace Bernard in How to Kill Your Family, a dark and funny drama inspired by Bella Mackie’s best-selling novel. Expect murder, mayhem and plenty of twists and turns.

From BAFTA-winning writer Neil Forsyth comes Legends, a thrilling drama inspired by true crime investigations.
The series follows an undercover team of British customs officers as they try to take down dangerous drug gangs.
