VP Harris has yet to unveil her policy proposals, despite Gov. Walz saying she is obligated to share them

Vice President Kamala Harris has been the Democratic nominee for more than a month after President Joe Biden ended his re-election campaign.

In that time, she has not held a formal press conference or interview, nor has she made her policy platform public, despite running mate and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz suggesting she do so. according to Fox News.

In an “epic troll” move, former President Donald Trump’s campaign has filled this void with a fake platform of Harris’ past policies, in an attempt to show the American people just how radically left-wing a Harris-Walz administration would be if elected.

Walz acknowledged that Harris owes voters details about her proposed policies

During Governor Walz’s speech at the Democratic convention this week, he seemed to subtly acknowledge that the campaign had no policy platform and seemed to suggest that Vice President Harris had an obligation to share one with voters before the election.

“We have an opportunity to make Kamala Harris the next president of the United States,” Walz said. “But I think we owe it to the American people to tell them exactly what she would do as president before we ask them for their vote.”

The governor touched on a number of other important issues in his speech, including tax cuts for the middle class, lower prescription drug costs and making housing more affordable. However, he did not provide details on how these policies might be implemented.

Where is Harris’ policy?

Notably, as of Friday afternoon, VP Harris and Governor Walz’s official campaign website still contained no policy platform or any indication of what she might attempt to do if elected president.

Instead, the website offers little more than brief biographies of the two members of the Democratic ticket, along with links to donate or volunteer for the campaign.

Never one to miss an opportunity to exploit its opponent’s shortcomings, the New York Post reported that former President Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee jumped into the policy vacuum and created a false policy platform on Harris’ behalf.

The site “Kamala2024policies” declares that Harris’ “dangerous policies” are no joke, that she is “weak, failed, and dangerously liberal,” and that “Kamala Harris not only appropriates the weakness, failure, and chaos of the Harris-Biden administration, she is so radical she makes ‘the Squad’ look like moderates. She wants to abolish our borders, let criminals control our streets, surrender our communities to cartels and a plague of fentanyl, wage war on American energy, and destroy the American dream.”

“Border Czar Kamala Harris opened the southern border to illegal alien criminals and deadly fentanyl, and as vice president was the deciding vote for far-left spending bills that raised taxes and skyrocketed prices for families across the country,” the site continued. “While Harris has tried to rewrite history with her extreme record, she can’t hide behind her promises to free murderers, dismantle America’s border security, raise costs with massive spending bills, bring back the Green New Deal scam, abolish private health insurance, and more.”

“Harris wants to open the borders, raise taxes and release criminals.”

According to the Post, Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said, “Kamala Harris hasn’t told voters what her policies are, so we thought we’d help them. Kamala Harris wants to open the borders, raise taxes and release criminals.”

The fake website lists a selection of nine alleged policies Harris has previously supported, along with explanations and relevant links. However, the Post noted that the vice president has walked back or even wavered on some of those earlier policies in recent years.

Some of the policies Harris could implement include abolishing the country’s borders, giving illegal immigrants Medicare and Social Security, defunding police, abolishing cash bail and releasing violent criminals and murderers, ending private health insurance, reviving the so-called Green New Deal, continuing “Bidenomics” and its attendant inflation, and raising taxes on middle-class families.
