Five suspects arrested for mafia-related activities in construction sector

Five suspects aged between 28 and 44 have been arrested for mafia-related activities in the construction sector which they allegedly committed yesterday at uMsunduzi in KwaZulu-Natal.

According to Robert Netshiunda, spokesperson for the KwaZulu-Natal police, the suspects have been charged with intimidation and disrupting a construction site.

“Police responded to reports of a group of people disrupting activities at a bridge construction site in uMsunduzi. Upon arrival, police arrested the five suspects who were charged with intimidation and disrupting a construction site. The five suspects will appear in Camperdown Magistrates Court on Monday 26 August.”
