52-year-old pan shop owner arrested in Chandrapur for sexually exploiting 16-year-old girl over unpaid debt

In a shocking incident from Chandrapur’s Durgapur area, a 52-year-old pan shop owner Babban Rohankar has been arrested for sexually exploiting a 16-year-old girl over an unpaid debt. The crime came to light when the girl got pregnant, leading to the arrest of the accused.

According to reports, the underage girl bought khara (a form of chewing tobacco) from Rohankar’s pan shop on credit. Over time, her debt mounted to ₹3,000. Unable to repay the amount, Rohankar began sexually exploiting the girl for the last four months. The continuous abuse eventually led to her pregnancy, which brought the crime to light.
