Gangs of Wasseypur will be released again in theaters on this date

Mumbai: The popular two-part film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, starring actors Manoj Bajpayee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, will be back in theatres from August 30.

Director Anurag Kashyap shared a poster on his Instagram account on Tuesday announcing the exciting news.

According to the poster shared by Anurag, the film will hit theatres from August 30 to September 5. Tickets are available on the official website of Miraj Cinemas.

The director added a caption to the poster that read, “In three days, the Gang is back… GOW back in theaters.”

The re-release allows fans to watch the modern classic once again on the big screen.

Director Anurag Kashyap’s film is based on a true story. The film is about a gangster who comes into conflict with a coal mining mafia.

The cast of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ included Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Manoj Bajpayee, Huma Qureshi, Richa Chadda and Tigmanshu Dhulia. The first part of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ was released on 22 June 2012.

Kashyap’s revenge drama received widespread critical acclaim and was also a box office success.
