A look at the American, British and German communist leaders and future leaders: Links 1 for September 1, 2024

Before the list begins, a few words about disinformation.

We are undoubtedly in a state of political and informational warfare. The enemy is even hard to identify who it is. But we are now subjected to a constant series of narrative attacks. It is tiring, and frankly, that is probably partly the desired effect.

One of the recent tweets is one claiming that the Hells Angels are riding around like Dark Knights to rescue apartment buildings full of people being abused and extorted by Venezuelan gangs. They often include photos or videos that have no evidentiary value, but show a few Hells Angels motorcycles on the highway or somewhere. When you see a tweet like this, it’s a great opportunity to unfollow the people who sent it.

Maybe less so if it’s a retweet. Misinformation, or the naive repetition of disinformation, is a lesser “crime” in that sense. It just means they have no discerning wisdom. But the people actually sending this stuff are the enemy.

For those of you who have read even the first book of The Gulag Archipelago, or like me, the first book and part of the second, we see a clear pattern of communists in practice elevating criminals and criminalizing lawbreakers. This is most clearly done in the West in the process most misidentified as “Two-Tier Policing” or selective enforcement. This is of course how communism is implemented according to dialectical principles. And its purpose is to destroy our set of values, any notion of private property, or even right or wrong on our own terms.

In this regard:

1. Breitbart article about the Venezuelan gangs causing some chaos in a number of American cities, but probably not quite as reported.

The Tren de Aragua, the Venezuelan international criminal network currently terrorizing several U.S. cities, has built a strong criminal presence after socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro emptied Venezuela’s prisons in late 2023.

In recent years, the Tren de Aragua has spread its presence across several Latin American countries, such as Colombia, Chile and Peru, before reaching the United States, with several of its members crossing the southern border of the United States. US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) began monitoring encounters with Tren de Aragua at the border as early as March 2023. (…)

The city of Aurora, Colorado, which borders the sanctuary city of Denver, also reported the gang’s presence in its area, taking over entire apartment complexes. Aurora police last week announced the formation of a joint task force with both the Colorado State Patrol and the state’s Bureau of Investigation to address the growing threat of Tren de Aragua in the state.

Okay, that might be real enough to be a concern, but…

2. There has been a lot of criticism of Tim Walz’s lie that he claimed to have served in Iraq. It was… how do I put this, clearly a lie, but one that was fabricated in such a way that he could claim he “misspoke,” as the CNN host said in an interview with Trump’s VP pick. But this one, this one is a little harder to explain. This cannot be dismissed as “misspoke,” except by the most desperate TDS people.

After all, illegal immigrants are already criminals because they committed a crime by entering the U.S. illegally. So kudos to Harris for at least not being able to tell that lie with a straight face.

3. It is becoming increasingly difficult to separate reality from fiction or narrative attacks. There are many videos circulating of NYC spraying insecticide from trucks that are strangely suited for the task in NYC neighborhoods. To me it looked like a scene from a movie repurposed as a disinformation LOA (Line of Action) in political warfare. But so far it seems to be true.

In response to an increase in West Nile virus cases, the New York City Department of Health (DOH) began spraying insecticides in several neighborhoods to reduce the risk of transmission. Spraying began on Monday, August 26, 2024, and continued throughout the week.

Affected areas

The first spraying took place in:

1. Central Park and Upper Manhattan neighborhoods (Monday, August 26, 2024, between 8:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Tuesday)

2. Neighborhoods in southwest Brooklyn, including Bay Ridge and Coney Island (Wednesday, August 28, 2024)

In the following days, more areas were sprayed, with a focus on high-risk neighborhoods. A map of sprayed locations can be found online.

Used insecticide

The DOH used “very low concentrations” of adulticide, a type of insecticide specifically designed to kill adult mosquitoes. The products used included Anvil 10+10, Duet and MERUS3.

Mosquito control

The DOH has been actively monitoring mosquito populations in the five boroughs, setting traps daily at 50 locations to capture and test mosquitoes, revealing an increase in mosquitoes carrying West Nile virus in the city.

Concerns about public health

Health officials urge residents to take precautions to prevent mosquitoes from breeding and reduce the risk of transmission. Removing standing water from properties and using insect repellent are recommended measures.

Confirmed cases

As of August 2024, there have been six confirmed cases of West Nile virus in NYC, with all infected individuals recovering without hospitalization. The DOH continues to monitor the situation and adjust spraying efforts as needed to limit the spread of the disease.

It would make more sense if the truck doing the announcing was at least 30 seconds ahead of the spray truck. If you were told to get inside before the spraying started, that would be more effective if they weren’t spraying you at the same time. Salty seems to be wrong about where they’re doing it though. And if the purpose of this spraying was something other than selling it, it would make sense. Communist state of New York and the federal government want to end private property. And the worst Kulaks would be in the wealthiest areas. So… yeah. There should definitely be a LOT more footage than that same clip he looped. It looks like they did this, and a quick fact check seems to indicate that they do, you’d think there would be hours of different footage online about it.

4. There is a famous story about the Danish people who decided to wear a yellow star to make it harder for the Nazis to determine who was Jewish and who wasn’t during the Holocaust. Unfortunately, as great as that story was, it wasn’t true. So you have to admire this man. He hung a mezzuzah on his door. Basically a Nazi magnet in solidarity with the Jewish people because of the current state of left and Islamic anti-Semitism.

5. For those of you who are not sure what a “Cordon Sanitaire” meansread this message from Eugyppius. Although he doesn’t use the term, the graphs he shows make it clear. A party can get the most votes, but the left will form a coalition around the party with the most votes if it is not left wing, and exclude them from the governing coalition and all responsible positions in government. This happens all the time and in all countries using the Prop. Rep. form of government. Geert Wilders managed to overwhelm them by getting so much of the total vote that they couldn’t exclude him. But the left refused to allow a government to form unless Geert agreed not to be the actual prime minister. Unheard of in the democratic history of even this system. This may also explain why at the 2nd “Pride” march this year in Ottawa there was an actual banner advertising a proportional representation form of government. Because it always benefits the left.

The story is about the recent German elections, in which the AfD generally seemed to do best, but is unlikely to be part of a governing coalition.
