Person in custody after damage to city hall

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person has been arrested after police damaged City Hall in downtown Buffalo Sunday night.

Police said the damage occurred just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday at City Hall and another building in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue. The male suspect reportedly damaged multiple exterior doors and windows.

City officials also said police are investigating “reports of threats,” but did not provide further details.

The alleged incident at City Hall is still under investigation.
