‘DWTS’ Derek Hough Reveals Most Wanted Celebrities

Dancing with the stars Judge Derek Hough has seen a wide range of talent during his time on the show. With six Mirrorball Trophies, he currently holds the record as the professional dancer with the most wins in a season. Now, he’s on the other side of the judges’ table and ready to return to the ballroom.

The full cast list for season 33 will be released tomorrow morning on Good morning America. Derek Hough already knows which competitors will take the field this year. But that doesn’t stop him from compiling his wish list for future seasons.

Derek Hough shares his top picks for DWTS

As a judge on Dancing with the starsit’s hard not to be a little biased towards the competition. Derek Hough isn’t giving away everything about this year’s cast list. He does, however, publicly acknowledge that there are a few stars he wants to see compete in future seasons.

In a new interview with ParadeDerek Hough would love to have actress Anya Taylor-Joy join the cast. The 28-year-old has starred in major productions such as The menu And The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

“She’s a great actress, but I’ve also heard she’s a great dancer, so I’d love to see her dance,” Derek said. However, the actress is getting bigger roles these days, so she may not have time to work DWTS schedule in her calendar at this time.

Over the past few months, Derek Hough has been discussing his love for Canadian icon Celine Dion. He has, of course, added her to his wish list.

“And I always talk about Celine Dion, because every time I see her we end up dancing, so I would love to see her,” he added.

In the interview, Derek said he would also like to see reality star Phaedra Parks join the cast. Interestingly enough, there are already rumors that she is in this season.

“But of course, in the reality star world I was really interested in The traitors “I’ve been loving it for the past year because I love playing Mafia, it’s such a fun game. I thought Phaedra, she’s a character, I think she would be fantastic on the show,” Derek said Parade.

It’s entirely possible that the Utah dancer’s wish for Phaedra will come true, as he also wanted Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik on the show. The bronze medalist was the first contestant confirmed to appear on season 33.

“It’s so funny, I actually mentioned it,” said the DWTS judge added. “I saw Stephen on TV with the glasses and I texted Deena (Katz), the casting director, I said, ‘Deena, are you on the phone yet?’ She said, ‘I’m on it.’ She was already ahead of the game. Of course, she’s incredible.”
