Yogi Adityanath: SP surrendered to mafia, can’t operate bulldozers: Yogi | Allahabad News

Prayagraj: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that ‘jungle raj‘ prevailed under the Samajwadi Party government as it tore apart the social fabric and looted money that should have been spent on the development and welfare of the youth and the poor.
Inaugurating a grand job fair at the IFFCO premises in Phulpur, Prayagraj, the CM said that there are jungle ruins in Prayagraj and other parts of UP.
“It was the same Tipu (Akhilesh’s pet name) who had surrendered before the mafia and rioters and even greeted them. Now Tipu is again attempting to become ‘Sultan’ (king),” Yogi said.
“They are trying to mislead the people of the state in the name of casteism. They did not raise the issue of PDA when BSP MLA Raju Pal and advocate Umesh Pal were murdered by mafia gangs,” he said.
“Our government is taking the country back from the clutches of the mafia and building houses for the poor. We will provide security to all and implement development for all. If anyone challenges law and order, we will not spare him. The safety of daughters is our priority,” the CM said.
Attacking Akhilesh for his remarks that then SP forms the government, all the bulldozers will be sent to Gorakhpur, Yogi said, “Not everyone’s hands can handle bulldozers. It requires courage and intelligence. You have to have stamina and resilience like a bulldozer to handle it.”
“Those who bowed to the mafia cannot drive bulldozers. They have heart attacks when they see bulldozers,” he said.
About Maha Kumbh, the CM said, “This year is very important for everyone as the Sangam city is gearing up to host the largest religious gathering of the world, Maha Kumbh.”
The CM sought the blessings of the people for the overall development of Phulpur and support for the sitting BJP MP Praveen Patel. He said that they should support the BJP in the upcoming elections in Phulpur.
The CM unveiled 407 projects worth Rs 634 crore and distributed loans worth Rs 510 crore. He also distributed 15,448 smartphones/tablets among students.
Targeting previous governments, the CM said, “Before 2017, the people of Prayagraj and Gorakhpur were not given any honour, but after 2017, things changed. Now all sections of people are living together peacefully.”
“The SP tore the social fabric and plunged the state into riots. They looted funds that should have been used for the development and welfare of the youth and the poor. They stole jobs that were meant for the youth. It was ‘chacha-bhatija private limited’ and they were equal partners in extortion,” he said.
The CM claimed that the result of the recently held UP police recruitment exam would be announced soon. “Once these posts are filled, over 50,000 posts would become vacant,” he said.
The CM said UP was shedding its BIMARU tag and becoming a developed state. “In the last 7.5 years, there were no riots in the state. Over six lakh people got government jobs, while 2 crore got work in the private sector,” he said, adding that good intentions were needed to fulfil promises.
The CM said that UP is the second largest economy in the country and all efforts are being made to ensure that UP becomes number one in the next 3-4 years.
