Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath warns: If mafia dares to raise its head, we will destroy it – UP News

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a stern warning against those committing crimes against women. Addressing an event in Phulpur district, he said that “if the mafia dares to raise its head, the government will destroy it”.

“It is our responsibility to provide security to every citizen and my government will do everything to ensure the safety of our daughters and sisters. And I repeat, if the mafia dares to raise its head, the government will destroy it,” he said.

Without naming anyone, he lashed out at the opposition, saying that “it takes courage to fight the mafia with a bulldozer”.

“Those who bow to the mafia cannot drive a bulldozer. Instead, they get a heart attack when they see one,” the Chief Minister said.

Yogi Adityanath’s remarks came amid an exchange of words with Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav over the controversial use of bulldozers to demolish illegal structures owned by or associated with prisoners in the state.

On Wednesday, Akhilesh Yadav questioned the legality of the Chief Minister’s residence and asked, “Has the CM’s residence map been approved? They are misusing bulldozers for personal gains. Bulldozers have no brains, only a steering wheel.”

Yogi Adtiyanath responded by saying that not everyone has the “courage or ability” to drive a bulldozer.

He pointed out that operating a bulldozer requires both the heart and the mind, meaning that only people with determination and skill can perform such tasks.
