Andre Reed announced as Bills Legend of the Game for 2024 home opener

The former Bills fourth-round pick has been able to reflect on his time with the Bills and the career he had. Reed still leads the Bills receivers in receiving yards, receptions and touchdowns.

What Reed remembers most is the opportunity he had to play at a high level with great Hall of Fame players, including Thurman Thomas.

“You know the opportunity to be a part of the Bills organization,” Reed said. “I’ve got a lot of coaches around me and you know, it doesn’t hurt that you’ve got Thurman Thomas, Jim Kelly, Steve Tasker. We had pretty much every position on offense.”

Reed says that now that he’s been inducted into the Hall of Fame 10 years ago, he’s eternally grateful for the honor of being recognized as one of the greatest people to ever do so.

“I could have played for 31 other teams, but I ended up in a place like Buffalo, and that was clearly the place I was meant to be,” Reed said.
