Arrest warrant issued for man who allegedly impregnated 13-year-old girl | Waukesha Co. News

WAUKESHA — A 25-year-old Illinois man is accused of talking to a 13-year-old girl on text messages, having sexual relations with her and impregnating her. An arrest warrant was issued Friday in Waukesha County Superior Court for Alejandro Tellez, 25. He was charged with sexual exploitation of a child (Victim A) and two counts of sexual assault of a child under 16. If convicted, he faces up to 120 years in prison.

On April 16, a Brookfield police detective was alerted by a Fox Lake, Illinois, police detective that Tellez may have had sex with a 13-year-old girl at Endicott Park in Brookfield.

Tellez was arrested by the Portage Police Department in Indiana for similar sexual assaults on several girls of the same age. There was also a victim of the same age in Fox Lake, the complaint said. A search warrant was obtained for Tellez’s cellphone, which contained videos of sexual acts with underage girls. Some of the videos were dated Oct. 17, 2023, and the GPS coordinates were in Endicott Park, the complaint said.

On April 17, a detective spoke with Victim A’s stepfather and mother, Victim B. Victim B stated “that she was aware of sexual activity with her daughter because she (Victim A) became pregnant.” The detective told the mother that Victim A may have had sex with an adult male on or around Oct. 17, 2023, and that it was captured on video from Tellez’s phone. Victim B stated that this was also the date that medical personnel told her her daughter became pregnant. Victim B stated that her daughter would not tell her who impregnated her, only that it was a classmate, the complaint states.

Victim A was interviewed at the CARE Center in Waukesha and said she met Tellez in June or July 2023 after connecting through a mobile app. They eventually communicated via Snapchat and she told him she was 12 at the time. Tellez told her he was 25. She said Tellez allegedly told Victim A she was acting “like that’s a bad thing (her age).” They began texting regularly, the complaint states.

They primarily sent each other nude photos. On October 17, Tellez asked if she could drive to Illinois. While her stepfather was at work and her sister was in her room, she ran away. Tellez allegedly met her at a park in Brookfield. Victim A said they had sex in the woods. She terminated the pregnancy on December 23, 2023. Tellez stopped communicating with her around January 6, 2024, the complaint states.

Victim A said she had tried to schedule an abortion, where she could take medications instead of the physical procedure, but it was too late in the pregnancy, the complaint said.

Victim A told Tellez about the pregnancy and the abortion and “he didn’t seem to care, so she tried not to talk about it.” Eventually, he stopped communicating with Victim A.
