CFMEU deals put union in bed with bikers and underworld

A major study by The Australian Financial Review, 60 minutes, The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald has brought to light new cases involving construction companies with deep underworld ties, some of which have received crucial support from the CFMEU.

The investigation, part of the ongoing Building Bad series, has also revealed new ties between motorcyclists and the union, with CFMEU organisers earlier this year instructing construction companies to hire older motorcyclists as delegates.
