Kamala Harris confirms support for mass amnesty › American greatness

After finally adding a list of policies to her beleaguered campaign website, Vice President Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) has doubled down on her support for amnesty for illegal immigrants if she is elected in November.

If Fox News reports, a platform has been added to Harris-Walz’s campaign website after nearly two months. In an effort to distance herself from her radical past positions, including supporting taxpayer-funded health care for all illegals, Harris has attempted to portray herself as far more aggressive on the immigration crisis.

“Vice President Harris and Governor Walz believe in tough, smart solutions to secure the border, keep communities safe, and reform our broken immigration system,” the website’s “issues” page now claims. The website goes on to say that Harris, as California’s attorney general, “went after international drug gangs, human traffickers, and cartels that smuggled guns, drugs, and people across the U.S.-Mexico border.”

On her website, she also pledges to sign the Border Security Act, which was proposed by the current Congress but defeated due to opposition from conservative Republicans who believe it does not go far enough to tackle illegal immigration.

“As vice president, she sponsored the bipartisan border security bill, the strongest reform in decades,” the page continues. “The legislation would have deployed more detection technology to intercept fentanyl and other drugs and added 1,500 Border Patrol agents to protect our border. As president, she will bring back the bipartisan border security bill and sign it into law.”

However, the campaign still admits that Harris supports “a path to citizenship,” a euphemism for amnesty for most illegal immigrants.

“At the same time, she knows our immigration system is broken and needs comprehensive reform, including strong border security and an earned path to citizenship,” the website reads. “We need Congress to act and do what we know is necessary to fully invest resources at the border and create a meaningful path to citizenship.”

The border crisis has remained a top issue for voters with less than two months to go until the 2024 election. Since taking office, the Biden-Harris administration has systematically increased both legal and illegal immigration, bringing more than 9 million illegal immigrants into the country.

Former President Donald Trump has promised that if re-elected to a second, non-consecutive term, he will carry out the largest deportation operation in U.S. history and complete construction of his signature border wall.
