White Co. Arrest for Sexual Exploitation; Commerce Murder Arrest

The GBI has arrested a White County man on child sexual exploitation charges and a Commerce man on murder charges.

Christopher Tench, 32, is charged with four counts of child abuse and six counts of child sexual exploitation.

The GBI began an investigation into Tench’s online activities after receiving a request from the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office regarding the possible online possession and production of child abuse material. The investigation led to a raid on Tench’s home on Sunday and his subsequent arrest.

Also on Sunday, the agency arrested and charged Cesario Choc Caal, 23, of Commerce, with first-degree murder, second-degree murder and aggravated assault in connection with the death of Griselda Seb, 19, also of Commerce.

The GBI responded after the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance in a death investigation. Officers and emergency medical personnel responded to the 5000 block of Highway 82 Spur in Commer, responding to a call for medical assistance.

Upon further investigation, officers and emergency medical personnel determined that Acte had injuries to her neck. Acte was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Caal was in the home when 911 was called.
