What you will do:

As a CACI-SOAS SIGINT Multi Disciplined Language Analyst (MDLA) you will support Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR). The MDLA is responsible for all language analysis, transcription, and translation of critical intelligence. This position requires a minimum Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) proficiency equivalent to Level 2/2 in reading and listening in Russian/Ukrainian. The Cryptologic Linguist must have substantial experience in language quality control, report writing, and a broad knowledge of the Intelligence Community and how various elements work together. The MDLA must have 6+ years of relevant experience. Must have passed or be able to pass a counterintelligence polygraph test.

More about the role

As a SIGINT MDLA, you will work with SOCEUR, SOTF, and their mission partners and organizations, sometimes in hostile, harsh environments. You will provide expert mission knowledge and technical intelligence expertise that enables you to effectively integrate intelligence and innovative technology into seamless solutions that help shape both current and future DoD Cyberspace mission requirements.

You will work with the DoD, commercial industry, and academia to identify and develop technology and capability improvements. These improvements are driven by close collaboration and coordination with the laboratories, universities, agencies, and industry partners leading the research and development.

You will support SOCEUR, organizations at all levels, and collaborate with communities of interest as they directly address a wide range of emerging threats and conduct operations to mitigate those threats. You will conduct comprehensive cyberspace intelligence analysis to monitor, assess, and report on cyberspace operations, capabilities, and vulnerabilities. You will utilize all available capabilities to monitor, track, detect, and analyze cyber threat activity and advise and coordinate actions to develop analytical approaches and recommendations for operational responses to problems and situations for which data is incomplete, controversial, or without precedent. You will review MDLA Operations Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and provide input into countermeasures assessments. You will participate in and provide input into the planning and execution of exercises and contribute to assessments of ongoing operations against commander objectives to inform senior leadership of mission success or failure. You will develop and provide briefings to all applicable DoD personnel levels, federal agencies, intelligence communities, law enforcement, and U.S. government organizations on the status of cyberspace operations.

You collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate complex technical intelligence and other data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of emerging threats and developments in assigned areas. You conduct research, create intelligence products, estimates, and assessments, and conduct intelligence briefings and prepare situational awareness, incident reports, and operational update letters. You collaborate and support all source methods to assess foreign cyber capabilities, threats, and intent and apply technical SOCEUR mission partner exploitation and identify system and doctrine vulnerabilities. You collaborate and coordinate on analysis, threat identification, and threat characterization, and provide technical expertise to SOCEUR and its mission partners to identify capabilities designed to mitigate those threats.

You will coordinate and deliver technology and capability integration based on a deep understanding of currently deployed capabilities, emerging threats, and the dangers these threats pose to U.S. national interests. You will do this based on a detailed understanding of the process required to move technology from research to operational capability to enhance SOCEUR’s information network capabilities and ensure resilient, reliable information and communications networks. Additionally, you will strengthen the nation’s ability to withstand and counter cyber threats, ensure access to cyberspace, respond to cyberattacks, ensure continuity of operations, and secure endpoint security.

You bring these qualifications with you

  • Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Poly or ability to achieve CI Poly.
  • Master’s degree in a related field and more than three years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and six years of experience, or ten years of relevant work experience
  • You must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • You will be able to provide daily feedback to the team leader, intelligence analysts and the supporting unit on product development.
  • Possess strong research, analytical and writing skills
  • Ability to function effectively as a member of an analytical team in support of SOCEUR and DOD requirements
  • Possess working knowledge of relevant tasks, collection, processing, reporting procedures and communications architecture of the NSA, DNI, DNR, CYBERCOM and DOD and IC

These qualifications would be nice to have

  • Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems requiring the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Experience and deep knowledge of the DOD technology maturation model, Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), and Defense Acquisition processes.
  • Must be customer and detail oriented and have good decision making skills.
  • Experience in carrying out operational procedures and maintaining documents

The suggested salary range for this position is:
