Nashville man arrested on multiple charges of sexual exploitation of a minor

An investigation into more than 200 files containing child sexual abuse material led to the arrest of a Nashville man at his Midtown home.

According to the Metro Police report, Alejandro Jarquin, 25, was arrested Tuesday night on six counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

Multiple tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicated that Jarquin allegedly owned multiple Kik messaging app accounts that had been uploading and sharing child abuse material over the past five months. According to police, each account “was used to share explicit material at least 25 times, with one account containing over 200 files of young boys engaged in sexual activity.”

Jarquin was arrested at his Midtown home. He remains jailed on a $300,000 bond.
