Planned Parenthood is pushing its sexual agenda on children starting in elementary school

America’s largest abortion provider is present in schools across the country, and the American Life League is calling on education administrators to grant Planned Parenthood access to students. The pro-life education organization points to one example, where the International Planned Parenthood Federation’s Deliver Enable Toolkit shows teachers how to scale “comprehensive sex education” for children under 10 by presenting the exploitation of women through prostitution as a normal “interpersonal relationship.”

“Public schools are giving the organization that killed nearly 393,000 unborn children through abortion in 2023 unfettered access to thousands of elementary, middle and high school students in their classrooms,” said Katie Brown, national director of the American Life League, “and they are spending taxpayer dollars to do it.”

Planned Parenthood boasts on its website that it is the “nation’s largest provider of sex education.” Its 2023 annual report states that it has “reached 1.2 million people . . . through educational programs, education, and training,” has had three million views of its educational videos, and has spent $53.9 million on sex education expenses.

The abortion rights organization claims to operate more than 350 campus groups across the country. A 2023 investigation found that Planned Parenthood is involved in 76 Christian colleges.

For all ages, the curriculum includes information on sexual health and behavior, relationships and decision-making, and human development, which Planned Parenthood defines as “reproduction, puberty, sexual orientation, and gender identity.”

“Conspicuously absent,” Brown said, “is any mention of chastity, expectant motherhood, fetal development, or parenthood. Planned Parenthood teaches children to be sexually promiscuous so that they will later need abortion and birth control services.”

The taxpayer-funded abortion giant’s offerings to students vary by state:

• Sex education on the go: Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest is offering teachers a free, downloadable abortion curriculum called “Sex Ed To-Go” for children ages nine and up, featuring 25- to 40-minute video sessions that include: How abortion worksa 40-minute course on “a common medical procedure”; Barriers to abortion carea 30-minute course on how to ‘bypass’ barriers to accessing abortion care; and Supporting access to abortion, a 25 minute course on how to be a “strong advocate for abortion access in your community.”
• Back to School with Planned Parenthood: The Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central and Southern New Jersey section titled “Back to School with Planned Parenthood!” informs young people that “we are always here for all of your sexual and reproductive health needs.” It goes on to say, “Whether you need a wellness screening, are interested in birth control, want free condoms (really – NSA), or just have questions, we have locations all over New Jersey.”
• Planned Parenthood teachers in public schools: Planned Parenthood Los Angeles promotes its school presentations as facilitated by Planned Parenthood “educators” who have “extensive training and expertise in teaching sex education classes,” noting that they “partner with several major schools in Los Angeles.”
• Helping children hide abortions from their parents: Planned Parenthood of South, East and North Florida is one of several regional Planned Parenthood affiliates that refer underage girls to a detailed guide to “Abortion Care for People Under 18,” which provides step-by-step instructions for obtaining an abortion without parental knowledge or consent.

“What does it look like when Planned Parenthood teaches sex education?” Brown asks. “Unfortunately, it’s not about how God created our bodies uniquely male and female to bring children into the world. No, Planned Parenthood’s primary services are abortion and birth control, which clearly illustrates this organization’s complete disrespect for the life God created and its total disregard for His plan for reproduction and families. This is not an entity anyone should ever trust to care for and educate our precious children.”

American Life League has documented examples of recent abortion clinic programs targeting young people.

“Our children are America’s most precious asset,” Brown shared, “and we cannot allow them to be abused by an entity that sees them as disposable fodder for an ideology that devalues ​​them and their existence by insisting they are expendable before and until they are born, even after they are born. By allowing Planned Parenthood to teach our children about anything, we are doing these young people a terrible — and deadly — disservice.”

Stop Planned Parenthood International (STOPP), the watchdog group for American Life League’s Planned Parenthood, regularly reports on the abortion giant’s salaries, facilities and programming. STOPP urges concerned parents and community members to inform school officials about Planned Parenthood’s unhealthy agenda and the utter failure of its sex education programs.
