Tulsa King follows New York mob boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone). Fresh out of prison after serving 25 years, he is unceremoniously banished by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests at heart, Dwight slowly builds a crew of unlikely characters to help him build a new criminal empire in a city that might as well be another planet to him.

What happened in season 1 of Tulsa King?

Season 1 of Tulsa King found Dwight “The General” Manfredi released from prison after serving 25 years for a murder he committed for the Invernizzi crime family. He refused to turn on them, but felt no mutual loyalty after his release. Dwight was sent to Tulsa, Okla. In an attempt to reconnect with the Invernizzis, Dwight settled there.

What happens in season 2 of Tulsa King?

In Season 2, Dwight and his crew continue to build and defend their growing empire in Tulsa, but once they find their feet, they realize they’re not the only ones trying to stake their claim. With threats looming from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while juggling all of his business. On top of that, he still has unfinished business in New York.

The star of such blockbusters as Rambo, demolition man And Judge Dredd, Stallone wrote and starred in the Academy Award-nominated film, Rocky. He is the only actor in American film history to have starred in a No. 1 movie in six decades. This is Stallone’s first major television role. He also serves as an executive producer.

Fun fact: Stallone wanted to be an extra in The godfather, but was rejected!

Dana Delaney (Margaret)

Margaret Devereaux is the owner of the Fennario horse ranch. Delaney is best known for her award-winning role in China Beach. She also starred in Tombstone, Exit to Eden And Fly away home.

Neal McDonough (Cal Thresher)

Cal Thresher is a powerful and extremely territorial businessman in Tulsa. McDonough is no stranger to the Taylor world. He previously appeared in Yellowstone as one of the Beck Brothers who hopes to acquire the Dutton family’s land.

Garrett Hedlund (Mitch Keller)

Mitch is a native Oklahoman, ex-rodeo star, ex-con, and current bar owner who is a partner in the Manfredi Syndicate. Hedlund is best known for his work in films such as Friday Night Lights, Tron: Legacy And Strong nationally.

Fun fact: Singer Tim McGraw is godfather to Hedlund’s son, Rhodes, And Emma Roberts is the mother of Rhodes!

Andrea Savage (Stacy Beale)

Stacy Beale is an ATF agent at a crossroads in her life. Savage wrote and starred in the Netflix hit I’m sorry, which originally aired on TruTV before the streaming renaissance. She also appeared in cattle And Curb your enthusiasm.

Martin Starr (Bodhi)

Lawrence “Bodhi” Geigerman is a marijuana dealer who owns a marijuana dispensary in Tulsa. He is recruited by Manfredi to help finance his syndicate. Starr is known for his roles in Freaks and Geeks, Silicon Valley And Celebrating.

Max Casella (Armand Truisi)

Armand “Manny” Truisi is a former Invernizzi soldier who has built a new life in Tulsa working at the Fennario horse ranch after breaking his oath to the family. He joins Manfredi’s crew after unsuccessfully trying to assassinate him.

If Casella looks familiar, you probably recognize him from his younger years. As a child actor, Casella played the role of Vinnie Delpino in Doogie Howser, MD opposite Neil Patrick Harris and as Racetrack Higgins on Newsreaders.

Tatiana Zappardino (Tina Manfredi-Grieger)

Tina is Dwight’s daughter and a florist from New York. The two have a strained relationship, as Dwight was absent for most of her childhood after he was imprisoned. Zapparadino has been promoted to series regular for season 2. Previous credits include This is us And NCIS: New Orleans.

Jay Will (Tyson Mitchell)

Tyson is the first person Dwight meets in Tulsa and eventually becomes the first member of the Manfredi Crime Syndicate. Will guest starred in The Wonderful Mrs. Maisel and recently had leading roles in Rob Vrede And It doesn’t matter.

Frank Grillo (Bill Bevilaqua)

Bevilaqua is the head of the Kansas City mafia who wants to stake his claim on Tulsa. Grillo has also been promoted to series regular for season 2. He is known for his roles as Crossbones in the Marvel Universe, The purification franchise and The Mambo KingsOther credits include Billions, Prison Break And Guiding light.

Fun fact: Grillo was previously married to Yellowstone cast member, Wendy Monizwho played Governor Lynette Perry.

Tulsa King comes from the creative mind of Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown And 1883. His other shows include Special Operations: Lioness, Law Enforcement: Bbutt Reeves and the Yellowstone prequel series, 1923.

Fun fact: Stallone met Taylor Sheridan years ago when they were horseback riding together in Los Angeles.
