JAMMU, Sep 13: Former minister and senior vice-president of JKPCC Mula Ram today said that the Congress and the National Conference will form a coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing an impressive rally in Phallain Mandal area of Marh constituency, senior Congress leader and candidate Mula Ram voiced the concerns of the local people, highlighting the neglect under the BJP government. He stressed that the Phallain Mandal area has been completely ignored by the BJP, leading to widespread discontent among the people. He pointed out that wherever you go, there is growing discontent over the BJP’s inability to deliver on its promises.
Expressing confidence in the people’s desire for change, Mula Ram noted that Congress meetings in the region are seeing large turnouts. “The enthusiasm for the Congress-National Conference (NC) alliance is evident as people are fed up with the BJP’s false promises and empty slogans,” he said.
“The Congress-NC alliance is determined to address the critical issues that have plagued Jammu and Kashmir under BJP rule, with a focus on smart meters, state sovereignty, unemployment, protecting state laws, fighting corruption and tackling drug mafia,” Mula Ram asserted.
He reiterated the commitment of the Congress and the North Carolina alliance to re-state Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP has wrested Jammu and Kashmir from statehood, a move that continues to hurt the sentiments of the people.
“The people of J&K deserve to have their state restored along with their pride and dignity. Under the INDI Alliance, we will work tirelessly to ensure that the aspirations of the people are fulfilled. Unemployment, which has shot up under the BJP rule, will also be a top priority for the Congress-NC alliance,” he added.
