More and more men are accusing ex-boss of Abercrombie & Fitch of sexual misconduct – with claims their penises were injected with ‘liquid Viagra’

MORE men have accused former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries and his British partner of sexual exploitation.

Last year, the BBC’s Panorama reported that 80-year-old Jeffries and his 61-year-old partner Matthew Smith had used an intermediary to find young men for sex events at Jeffries’ New York home and in hotels around the world.

When the program aired, an intermediary denied that anything had gone wrong, saying the men were present at the reported events “with their eyes wide open.”

Eight men told the broadcaster they had attended events, with some claiming they were abused or exploited.

Following the reports, the FBI launched an investigation.

Mr. Jeffries, Mr. Smith and Abercrombie & Fitch are facing a civil lawsuit alleging the retailer financed a sex trafficking ring during the two decades he was in charge.

Lawyers for Mr Smith and Mr Jeffries have previously said they deny the allegations of misconduct, adding: “The courtroom is where we will try this matter.”

Mr Jeffries’ lawyers have filed documents saying he “strongly denies every allegation made against him” in the civil lawsuit.

A separate document filed on behalf of Mr Smith said the allegations “relate to events that allegedly occurred in 2010”, were “time-barred since 2011” and that the claim “does not describe specific, factual events” of an alleged sexual offence by him.

A&F has responded separately, saying the retailer had no knowledge of any “alleged human trafficking” or alleged sexual misconduct.

According to the BBC, a total of 20 men have said they attended or helped organise the events.

“Multiple men” claimed that Jeffries’ assistants injected some of the attendees in the penis with what they believed was liquid Viagra, the network reported.

One person, who went by the pseudonym “Chris,” said he felt like he was “going to die” after receiving an injection that caused a reaction at an event at Mr Jeffries’ New York home.

He claimed that no one called an ambulance because he felt “hot, dizzy” and was in shock.

Chris claimed that Mr Jeffries and Mr Smith waited in another room and then tried to have sex with him.

Former visitor Diego Guillen, 42, said he was paid $500 (£380) on Saturdays to wake men up to sex events in 2011. He estimates he made about 80 calls over seven months.

Mr Guillen, who is now a lawyer, claimed that other men attending the events felt “no pressure whatsoever”, adding: “Michael and Matthew are well-known gay men and enjoy having sex with young, handsome men.

“And because they were older, they knew that the real way to get this done was to be generous. But with full consent and make sure that the (men) wanted it and liked it. And that’s it.”

Last year, David Bradberry, one of the eight men who spoke to the BBC, angrily called Jeffries a “predator” and a “deviant”.

It was claimed that ‘recruiters’ would find men who wanted to come to the events and that they would be paid between $500 and $1,000 for each referral.

The BBC named the alleged intermediary as James Jacobson and alleged that he approached men or had them do sexual “auditions” by asking or offering to perform sexual acts.

Bradberry and another man, Barrett Pall, described how Jacobson wore a distinctive snakeskin patch on his nose, which he said had been disfigured in a botched plastic surgery.

Bradberry said: “He sold fame and the price for that was obedience.

“Jim made it clear to me that I would not have an appointment with Abercrombie & Fitch or Mike Jeffries unless I let him perform (sexual acts) on me.

“It should have been a warning sign. I wanted to believe that this was a chance to meet someone who could make all my dreams come true.”

Jacobson reportedly instructed Bradberry to wear Abercrombie & Fitch clothing for the event.

The men were reportedly given detailed instructions about the events, but there was no discussion of the sexual acts expected of them.

Pall said: “It’s just so fucked up.”

A personal “groomer” was reportedly hired to shave off some of the men’s intimate body hair, an experience Paul called “dehumanizing.”

Some of the events are said to have taken place at Jeffries’ sprawling, secluded Hamptons mansion, with the household staff having to leave every Saturday due to “suspicious” preparations.

The men were reportedly required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and were monitored during the sex acts by uniformed Abercrombie & Fitch staff.

Breaking down in tears, Pall said, “I didn’t say no. I didn’t say yes. I had no control.”

A man, who wishes to remain anonymous, claims that ‘date rape’ drugs were spiked in his drink at an event in Marrakech, rendering him unconscious.

The man, who was healthy, said he later found out he was HIV positive.

He choked back tears and said, “It turned everything upside down.

“Since then everything has changed. The chance that it came from outside the event was very small.

“But we can’t know that for sure.”

Mr Jacobson previously said he took offence at the suggestion of “any coercive, misleading or violent behaviour on my part” and that he was “not aware of any such behaviour by others”.
