Former ICE official warns: Venezuelan prison gang preparing for ‘major gang war’ in Colorado

A retired Immigration and Customs Enforcement official warned the DailyMail in a shocking new interview that Venezuelan prison gangs are quickly setting up their network in preparation for all-out gang warfare on the streets and in neighborhoods of the American city. Just days ago, unclassified documents from the US Army North Division warned that thousands of Tren de Aragua gang members, some heavily armed, have spread across America.

“Tren de Aragua has sparked a crime wave from Miami to New York, but for the first time law enforcement officials are revealing what TdA’s future plans are,” the DailyMail reported.

DailyMail journalists spoke with John Fabbricatore, retired director of the ICE field office for the Denver region, and he revealed: “There’s going to be a big gang war soon.”

“I believe they’re setting up their network now. These guys are setting it up faster than MS-13 did. They’re going into these apartment complexes and what they’re doing is they’re starting prostitution,” said Fabbricatore.

A few days ago, local police in Aurora, a northern suburb of Denver, arrested ten TdA members.

The former ICE official said: “Prostitution brings in a lot of money. The advantage of prostitution is that it attracts men to whom they can then sell drugs.”

He warned that TDA is expanding rapidly and buying weapons on the black market in an area that Bloods, Crips and Sureños have controlled for years, creating the risk of a turf war.

“These gangs have already set up their networks. They have been trafficking drugs in those areas. They control the prostitution in that area. So Tren de Aragua comes and they try to put their girls on the street, and they start trafficking drugs in that area, you will see resistance. We have not seen it yet, but I believe it will happen,” Fabricator warned.

In a separate interview, retired FBI agent Dan Brunner told DailyMail: “TdA is MS-13 on steroids.” In other words, the Venezuelan prison gang is much better organized than a transnational criminal organization.
