Bills Mafia Donates Nearly $18,000 to Tua Tagovailoa’s Charity

Buffalo Bills fans know heartbreak. Over the years, they’ve watched several players suffer devastating injuries or tragedies that no human should ever have to experience. On Thursday Evening FootballMiami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered some setbacks of his own when he made contact with Bills safety Damar Hamlin and immediately fell to the ground. Six minutes later, he was diagnosed with a concussion and ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Tagovailoa has now suffered a total of four concussions, three on an NFL field and one at Alabama, and many are wondering if it’s time for him to hang up his cleats. While people debate his future decisions, Bills Mafia has been busy doing what they do best: donating to Tua Tagovailoa’s charity.

When fans asked the Bills Mafia Babes where to send their donations, they responded with this tweet:

The Tua Foundation was founded by Tagovailoa himself, and states on its homepage that it is “a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth initiatives, health and wellness, and other charitable causes.” In recent years, the foundation has donated to the Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch after a tragic car accident claimed the lives of eight children, and has also donated and shipped Microsoft laptops to support families affected by the Maui wildfires. In August, they unveiled a new soccer field — aptly named Tua Foundation Field — at Pinecrest Elementary in Florida.

Since the events of last Thursday night, the Tua Foundation has received nearly $18,000 in donations, primarily from Buffalo Bills fans. Good Morning Football gave a shout-out to the Bills Mafia for their charity efforts on Friday morning.

If you would like to share some love for Tua and his organization, please visit the Tua Foundation. We here at Buffalo Rumblings sincerely wish Tua Tagovailoa a full and speedy recovery.
