FFormer President Trump was incorrectly “fact-checked” and corrected by the ABC moderators in the recent debate. The most easily proven point that the ABC team “corrected” was Trump’s claim that violent crime has skyrocketed under the Biden-Harris administration due to crimes committed by illegal aliens.

ABC’s David Muir interrupted him to say, “President Trump, as you know, the FBI says that overall violent crime is actually going down.” The most recent FBI crime statistics show that Muir was dead wrong.

In the Justice Department’s National Crime Victimization Survey released last week, the department reported that violent crimes increased 37 percent from 2020 to 2023, with rapes increasing 42 percent, robberies increasing 63 percent and stranger violence increasing 61 percent. The number or percentage of violent crimes committed by illegal aliens is not something the government publishes for obvious reasons. If those numbers were published, someone could actually demand that the Biden-Harris crew be held accountable for the crime waves that are making our cities, and some areas beyond, nearly uninhabitable.

Latin American criminal syndicates

We know that violent Central and South American gangs have been active here for years. MS-13, founded in Los Angeles in the 1980s, grew to its current massive membership largely through members who entered the U.S. illegally from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua.

MS-13 is now expanding its criminal activities across the country. There is an MS-13 presence here in Northern Virginia where I live.

There are other criminal gangs and drug cartels that have taken root in most states. Recently, the media has focused on the gang “Tren de Aragua” — literally the “train to Aragua,” a state in northern Venezuela — which was created by inmates of a Venezuelan prison. They, like MS-13, are hyper-violent and operate throughout our country.

Mr. Trump’s claim during the debate that Venezuela is seeing a decline in violent crime went unnoticed. He must have taken that position, because that’s what the Venezuelan government is claiming.

Trump shouldn’t believe what Maduro’s government publishes, but he made his point clear during the debate.

In a recent report, the “Observatorio Venezolano de Violencia” stated that there was a 25 percent decrease in violent crime. It bases this figure on the fact that a large number of criminals have emigrated to other countries. The United States is one of those countries.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, Tren de Aragua (TdA) is known for dismembering rivals from Chile to Columbia. It is known to operate in Texas and has dozens of criminal cases pending against it in Miami. Some law enforcement officials call TdA “MS-13 on steroids.”

According to the same report, many TdA members have come to the US among the 700,000 Venezuelans the Biden-Harris crew has allowed into the country. WSJ reported: “Members of Tren de Aragua are suspected in the shootings of two New York police officers, the killing of a former Venezuelan police officer in South Florida and crimes from Chicago to Texas, law enforcement authorities said.”

The report added: “Members of Tren de Aragua have found particularly lucrative territory in New York City, authorities said. They are accused of robbing upscale stores, and members of moped gangs have also been accused of stealing phones from unsuspecting pedestrians, said Joseph Kenny, chief of detectives for the New York Police Department. ‘It was like a crime wave like we’ve never seen before,’ Kenny said.”

Red State vs. Blue State Crime Responses

We know Tren de Aragua because of their activities, which have also generated media attention in Colorado and Texas.

According to recent reports, TdA took over an apartment building in Aurora, Colorado, terrorized residents, and forced the landlord to sell the property. As you might expect, Colorado Governor Jared Polis, a Democrat, denied that any of this happened.

Following that ruling, Polis backed down, announcing on X (formerly Twitter) that “taking over buildings has no place in Colorado,” and that he had “been in contact” with Aurora authorities over the past month and “offered all possible state assistance” to “support any Aurora Police Department operation.”

Polis is not serious about getting rid of the TdA in Denver. Residents are being terrorized by the mob. The truth doesn’t matter to him, but shouldn’t anyone blame him for the mess his party has made? Every Dem politician is responsible, because they are marching in lockstep behind Biden and Harris. Texas, as you might expect, does things differently. When TdA members took over a hotel, Texas police shut it down and threw them out.

The TdA problem goes beyond local law enforcement. It will take a massive federal effort to track down and deport its members. That won’t happen with Biden and Harris at the helm. After all, it’s their open border policy that allowed them in in the first place.

And it’s not just the gangs. There’s hardly a day that goes by that the media isn’t reporting more crimes committed by illegal aliens. Yesterday, a report said that an illegal alien from the Dominican Republic, Julio Cesar Pimentel-Soriano, was charged with the stabbing murder of a family of four.

We know Vice President Harris will keep our borders open, it’s long past time to throw her and the rest of the Biden bums out of government.
