A conversation with Cure Violence after the historic gang raid in Columbus

Last week, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office, FBI, DEA and other local law enforcement partners busted two Columbus-based criminal street gangs suspected of trafficking illegal drugs.

This week, WRBL spoke exclusively with two men who are fighting the growing gang problem on the streets.

Cure Violence co-founder Reggie Lewis and Cure Violence coordinator Christopher Brown discussed the operation against the Zohannon and Crips gangs that resulted in over 100 arrests, 31 of them here in Columbus.

They also talked more deeply about the gang problem.
