Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, has an exciting opening for an Industrial Security Analyst at our Crane, IN location.
In this role, you will perform security measures necessary to implement the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), government security regulations, and the company’s security policies and procedures. Primary duties include execution of day-to-day security program requirements and participation and contribution to the company’s security program. Conduct security briefings and manage an effective security education program.

This opportunity works with our Logistics, ISR, and Next-Gen Technology (LOGIX) TO which focuses on ILS to support as envisioned by the JADC2 strategy of transitioning to joint/combined capability development. The LOGIX TO will also support the JADC2 goal of delivering a relevant information advantage with ISR operations and logistics support. To support the continued advancement and sustainment of the JADC2 strategy, the LOGIX TO supports the accelerated application of technology solutions by analyzing new and emerging technologies for DIU-NSIN Mission Partner systems, technologies, capabilities, platforms, equipment, and associated subordinate and supporting systems used to execute their missions.

Responsibilities: I want to and I can!

• Support all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security activities for HII Mission Technologies, personnel security, and interpretation/preparation/maintenance of prime and subcontractor DD Form 254 for confidential contracting.
• Perform personnel security actions including briefing, reporting, and debriefing on foreign travel. Initiate and submit member clearance investigations. Process various security forms for CACs and access to government systems. Process requests for outbound visits to customers for member access.
• Provide guidance and instructions to employees to ensure security documentation is completed.
• Review all personnel security documentation for accuracy, completeness, and submission via eAPP and other methods.
• Supporting employee security measures, such as managing the ongoing employee fitness program.
• Act as COMSEC Account Manager, including tracking, monitoring, coordinating and reporting on account activities.
• Supporting FSOs in security vulnerability assessments.
• Maintain visitor control functions and verify visit consent requests (VARs) before submission.
• Prepare, track and monitor DD254 subcontractor forms, ensuring 100% accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure the accuracy of the Access Commander database and other security tools.
• Understanding the reporting requirements of Title 32 CFR Part 117, SEAD3.
• Provide all employees with guidelines and instructions to ensure that any event, circumstance or action that may be considered a security breach is reported immediately.
• Oversee programs for the protection of confidential information and controlled non-confidential information (CUI), as well as proprietary information.
• Conduct security training, briefings and debriefings.
• Manage Defense Information for Security System (DISS) and National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) activities, including processing and maintaining personnel security clearances and visitation requests.
• Knowledge of DoD, DOE and/or other industrial security programs is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM rule.
• In-depth knowledge of using/applying US government online programs such as eAPP, DISS, and NBIS.
• Prepare reports and presentations for all levels of management, including senior management
• Ensure all data is in accordance with our security manual and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision.

Requirements: I have already done that or already have!

• 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 4 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree in a related field; or a high school diploma or equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Strong knowledge of NISPOM and aspects specific to Industrial Security Program execution. Includes personnel security; classified information systems assessment & authorization; classified contract management and contract security classification specification (DD254) preparation; physical security; insider threat program; counterterrorism and counterintelligence; administrative investigations, etc.
• Thorough knowledge and use of Ministry of Defence systems and applications, including NISS, DISS and NBIS (including eAPP).
• Must have in-depth knowledge and familiarity with Intelligence Community (ICD) guidelines, DoD manuals, and other related security requirements.
• Knowledge of the ICD-705 Construction Requirements
• Knowledge of SCIF accreditation and management requirements.
• Experience and training as COMSEC Account Manager.
• Knowledge and experience in enforcing security policies and procedures.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of DOE, Intelligence Community, and other government agency safety regulations is a plus.

Desired requirements

• Facility Security Officer Program Management for Certificate of Completion holders is a plus.
• Certification in the Insider Threat Program course is a plus.
• Knowledge of ACCS
