Kevin Matley Scores Christian Gudegast’s ‘Den of Thieves 2: Pantera’

Kevin Matley (Arthur the King, Concrete Cowboy, The Family Plan, Daniel, Path of the Panther) has composed the original music for the upcoming sequel to the action thriller Den of Thieves 2: PanteraThe film is written and directed by Christian Gudegast (London has fallen, A man apart) starring Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. The sequel to the 2018 original film (featuring music by Cliff Martinez) follows Big Nick back on the hunt in Europe, hot on the trail of Donnie as he becomes entangled in the unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the notorious Panther Mafia as they plot a massive heist at the world’s largest diamond exchange. Butler is also producing the project with Tucker Tooley (We are the Millers, The United States vs. Billie Holiday), Alan Siegel (Law abiding citizen, Aeroplane) and Mark Canton (300, The Spiderwick Chronicles). Den of Thieves 2: Pantera will be released in theaters by Lionsgate on January 10, 2025.
