Your career

We are looking for a Principal Linux Security Researcher for our R&D center in Tel Aviv. He will work on cortex-xdr for Linux, which provides runtime security for servers and cloud workloads.
You will be part of a team responsible for researching, developing and improving Anti-Exploit capabilities, Anti-malware capabilities. The role involves researching OS internals, exploits, malware, delving into cloud security and finding ways to mitigate new attack vectors.

Your impact

  • Research, develop and improve anti-exploit mitigations and anti-malware modules – ranging from low-level mitigations to addressing application-level security vulnerabilities
  • Work on the design, evaluation and implementation of new security technologies
  • Investigate the internal workings of Linux OS, kernel, application codebases, vulnerabilities and exploits (both for internal use and PR)
  • Analyze customer issues to help detect and prevent malicious activity on our customers’ networks

Qualifications

Your experience

  • In-depth knowledge of the internal workings of some operating systems is required – Knowledge of Linux is an advantage
  • Development experience in C/C++/Rust is required, minimum 2 years
  • Experience in reverse engineering – both static and dynamic, is a requirement (x86/64 architectures), minimum 3 years
  • Development knowledge in some scripting languages ​​is a must – Experience with Python is an advantage
  • Experience with exploitation is an advantage (both application-level security and memory corruption)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud workloads is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative
