Here is a step-by-step guide to checking ownership of a property

Step 1: Visit the PLRA portal at Punjab-zameen.gov.pk.

Step 2: Search for ‘Property Registration’ on the homepage and click on https://rodportal.punjab-zameen.gov.pk/.

Step 3: You will be asked to select your district and service center.

Step 4: You can search by different options like Bahi Number, ID Card, Registration Number or by the person’s name.

Step 5: After filling in the details, go to ‘Search’ to find out the ownership of the land.
