Man serving prison sentence indicted by grand jury on sex charges

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A man serving a prison sentence was indicted Thursday by a Mahoning County grand jury on several sexual charges.

Nicholas Felder, 24, who is currently being held at North Central Correctional Institution in Marion, is charged with first-degree human trafficking/sex acts and coercive prostitution; two second-degree felonies of bribing another with drugs and an additional second-degree felony of coercing prostitution; commercial exploitation of a minor, a third-degree felony; a fourth-degree felony of bribing another with drugs; and a minor charge of assault.

The indictment in the case accuses Felder of performing sexual acts on a woman who was 16 years old at the time of the acts between April 1, 2023, and July 4, 2023, under threat of force.

He is also accused of seducing or forcing the woman to perform sexual acts with others during the same period and of supplying her with drugs.

Felder is serving an 18-month prison sentence imposed on May 29 after pleading guilty to charges of weapons possession, a third-degree felony, and attempted violation of a protection order, a fourth-degree felony.

Felder filed his request in Mahoning County Superior Court.
