Summer weather in Western New York is coming to an abrupt end, just in time for a rainy Monday Night Football game in Orchard Park on September 23.

High temperatures will dip just below seasonal norms, with an evening shower expected as the Buffalo Bills take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bills Mafia may need to pack ponchos as their undefeated team plays its second straight non-Sunday game.

The National Weather Service forecast for Orchard Park on Monday calls for likely showers and a low of around 59 degrees and winds out of the south. There is a 70% chance of precipitation and the day will be generally cooler, cloudy and with a chance of showers throughout the day.

The AccuWeather forecast calls for a windy day with a few showers and a high near 71 degrees. The low at night is expected to be around 62 degrees, with evening showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms.

How the weather affects Bills vs. Jaguars odds and betting

Betting site OddsTrader indicates that there is no impact on the betting odds for the match despite the rain. The Bills are favorites over the winless Jaguars.

Any form of rain reduces production in the passing game by 12%, regardless of whether it is light, moderate or heavy, according to betting site covers.com. Field goal percentages similarly drop to about 2% lower than expected on shorter attempts favored in rainy, slick conditions.
