Antonia Lopez, a 19-year-old girl was killed after being shot during a brawl that broke out outside a nightclub .

Three more people were injured in this serious incident and taken to hospital.

Media in Italy report that one of the injured is Eugenio Palermo, who wants to become the leader of the eponymous mafia clan ‘Palermiti’.

The murdered girl was the granddaughter of Ivan Lopez, who was killed on September 29, 2021 in an ambush in Bari, in the San Girolamo district.

The owner of the bar where the event took place last night said: “It was hell, it was a moment: we are close to the girl’s family, but we are also victims of this violence.”

The mayor of Molfetta also reacted to this event: “You can’t die like this,” wrote Tommaso Minervini on social networks.

Davide Lepore and Giovanni Didonna, 30 and 28, are on trial for the murder of Ivan Lopez. Both are accused of serious murder with the mafia method as an aggravating circumstance.

Ivan Lopez, 31, was shot at least six times as he rode home on a scooter. Prosecutors say Lepore was the perpetrator of the murder, while Didonna helped commit the crime.
