Yudhra Box Office Collections 1st Weekend: Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan’s Film Trends Are Poor; Just 8.5 Crore Net in 3 Days

Directed by Ravi Udyavar and starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan, Raghav Juyal and others, Yudhra had a disappointing weekend. The film benefited from the National Cinema Day promotion on its first day, where tickets were priced at an affordable price of Rs 99. However, as ticket prices returned to normal levels, the stylish action drama fell by over 50 percent the following day. Without any significant growth on its first Sunday, Yudhra managed just Rs 8.50 crore in its first weekend.

Yudhra has a poor weekend of Rs 8.50 Crore nett in India

Now that the weekend is over, the Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan film is likely to take a crash. Advance bookings for Monday are low and the screenings have also reduced considerably from the first day, with shows being allocated to better performing releases like Stree 2 and Tumbbad (re-release). The only thing that Yudhra will be aiming for is a final net total higher than last week’s The Buckingham Murders; but that’s no consolation for a well-budgeted commercial action film.

Like Yudhra, Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam is also struggling at the box office

The other new release of the week, Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam, was a flop on its first day. It is unlikely that the film will even double its opening figures, which were around Rs 1 crore nett. Both Yudhra and Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam are disasters at the box office.

The Day Wise Net India collections from Yudhra are as follows

Day India Net Collections
1 4.25 crore rupees
2 2 crores rupees
3 2.25 crore rupees
Total Rs 8.50 crore nett in 3 days

About Yudhra

Yudhra (Siddhant Chaturvedi) is an orphaned boy with severe anger issues. He grows up to be a rowdy boy who gets himself into trouble time and again. Yudhra’s uncle Rehman (Ram Kapoor), who is a member of the special forces, suggests to Kartik Rathore (Gajraj Rao), Yudhra’s adoptive father who was once a colleague of Yudhra’s real father in the police force (and now a politician), to send him to the army so that he can better utilize his strengths. Yudhra learns discipline. After Yudhra is expelled from the army for nearly killing a bully, his uncle asks him to become an undercover agent for the police.

Yudhra is assigned to bust a drug racket involving very influential names, who are also responsible for the death of his parents.

Raj Arjun plays the role of the drug mafia, Feroz. Raghav Juyal plays Shafiq, the son of Feroz. Malavika Mohanan is Rehman’s daughter who gets dragged into the mess. She plays the role of Yudhra’s love interest.

Will Yudhra be able to dismantle the drug trade? Are there traitors? Watch the film to find out.
