Abazović is ready to do anything to come to power, DPS gave him a chance once, the second time they don’t want to help him either

Saša Mujović, candidate for mayor of Podgorica from the list “Europe Now – Democrats – Even Stronger – Prof. Dr. Saša Mujović”, pointed out that the upcoming local elections will best show who works in the interests of citizens and who works only in their own interests.

In recent days, he and other representatives of the coalition he leads have spoken to a large number of Podgorica residents. The last meeting brought together residents of Zlatica, Zagorič, Piper, Maslin, Murtovina, Doljana, Gorica, Bioča and Smokovc, the announcement shows.

“We carry good energy, winning energy! We want to do useful things and great things at the level of local and provincial government that will provide a better life for all our citizens. On the other hand, there are those who are ready to do anything to achieve their political interest,” Mujović said.

He added that the first among them is the biggest political manipulator in Montenegro, the famous and well-known Maradona. He said that he is a big fan of sensationalism and political intrigue, referring to the chairman of the URA Civic Movement, Dritan Abazović.

“For his son-in-law, a lot of work was done in Podgorica, the truth is ‘illegal’ and without ‘UT conditions’, such as the tunnel to the court, and he presented his fellow students as first-class experts. And they want to return to power. Once they got a chance from the DPS, they will not help them the second time either,” Mujović stressed.

The President of Democratic Montenegro, Aleksa Bečić, stressed that instability is the goal of those who have been undermining Montenegro’s stability and prosperity for decades.

“See what unity means. See that unity always wins, always leads to the future and always leads to security, trust and progress. Not a single vote should be lost! Not a single vote should be misled! Not a single man should What is the goal of DPS? What is the goal of their main boss, who is in prison? What is the goal of Kavački and other drug cartels? Their goal is not to increase salaries and pensions! Their goal is for the security sector to stop its fight against the mafia,” Bečić said.

Europe Now Movement President Milojko Spajić spoke about the government’s new plans and stressed that all promises will be fulfilled.

“In addition to the many benefits that our citizens already enjoy, the affordable housing programme was recently presented. Everyone should have the opportunity to realise this investment in life in a way that is accessible to citizens. Especially young couples, people who are starting their careers and raising children at the same time. It is a ‘Sisyphean’ job in Montenegro and that is why we want to provide help that will change the lives of many people. That is the only way we can build Montenegro, the country we love and where we will stay. We have prepared a plan called ‘Velje brdo’ and I guarantee that we will implement it to the end, just as we implemented Europe Now 1 and as we will soon have the results of Europe Now 2,” Spajić assures.

Danilo Šaranović from Democratic Montenegro, who is second on the list of candidates for the council, warned against people who say one thing and do another. He also expressed doubts about people who, according to the DPS, do not make up their own minds.

“Our task is to know who is with us and who is with them, because with us they are pure business! We are the only coalition that has clearly stated in its agreement as a key issue that there is no cooperation with DPS! Not only because of them, but because of everything that is the legacy of DPS, and we are asking this question for a reason, because we have many reasons to doubt that such a scenario could happen,” Saranović stressed.

Boris Pejović, Secretary General of the Europe Now movement, also addressed the citizens. They said that they had waited a long time and welcomed changes. The citizens were punished because they thought differently and could do much better.

“And when that August 30, 2020 happened and the conditions were met to move Montenegro forward with strong dynamics, already at the end of 2021, some political subjects came forward who thought that we can join the European Union faster with Branimir Gvozdenović, Peter Ivanović and the rest of the DPS team. Who are these people from the URA, who overthrew the current majority in the capital and who have the same plan,” he said.

Council candidate Bojan Božović noted that everyone is fed up with what has been happening for decades.

“We are tired, dear neighbors, of hearing those who have done so many bad things in the past decades talking about how they are going to rebuild Podgorica. It is precisely such people who have turned certain settlements into ruins and made them big and small promises in vain, while we could not even get normal streets with them, and they expect us to be happy when they change our basket nets on the nearby training ground,” Božović said, adding that he entered politics to make a full contribution to achieving great goals for Podgorica, but also for the whole of Montenegro.

“I entered politics at the invitation of hardworking and hard-working people who want to make big changes so that we can achieve full prosperity in all parts of the city. I will dedicate my personal authority to ensuring that we all live in equally developed neighborhoods,” he concluded.
