Alexis Brolin Jr., 55, of Allport, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to more than 17 years in federal prison for his involvement in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy, illegal weapons possession, and money laundering. Senior U.S. District Judge Kim R. Gibson will impose the sentence on September 20, 2024.

Brolin was a key figure in a drug trafficking ring that operated in Western Pennsylvania between July 2019 and April 2020. He was responsible for distributing large quantities of methamphetamine in Clearfield and surrounding areas.

Evidence presented in court showed that Brolin used federal wiretaps to obtain kilograms of methamphetamine, which he then sold to others.

During an interdiction stop in April 2020, Brolin was arrested with more than 650 grams of methamphetamine intended for distribution in Clearfield. A subsequent search of his home turned up additional methamphetamine, along with 11 firearms and ammunition. As a convicted felon, Brolin was prohibited from possessing firearms.

Brolin also pleaded guilty to money laundering charges, conspiring with others to conduct financial transactions using the proceeds of his drug trafficking activities between July 2019 and June 2020.

Assistant District Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon prosecuted the case.
