Shivraj Singh Chouhan is the BJP’s election in-charge in Jharkhand

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s car today got stuck in a muddy pothole in Jharkhand, where he had gone to attend a public meeting. A video shows the car in which Shivraj Chouhan was travelling overturned and stuck in a big pothole on a waterlogged road during the rains. His security then rushes to the car to assess the situation. At the end, Shivraj Chouhan steps out of the vehicle.

According to news agency ANI, Shivraj Chouhan’s car got stuck in Jharkhand’s Baharagora town. He is the BJP’s election in-charge in Jharkhand and was there to campaign for the party for the upcoming state assembly elections.

Addressing a public meeting today amid rain, Shivraj Chouhan drew a comparison between the dark clouds and the state’s ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. He said, “Just as clouds come as a crisis, the Hemant Soren government is a bigger crisis than these clouds… This is not JMM, but the ‘Jurm, Murder and Mafia’ government led by Hemant Soren.”

“The clouds are raining, the lightning is flashing and it is raining heavily, yet you are determined to bring about change… Seeing this, I can say today that the darkness will disappear, the sun will rise, the lotus will bloom and change will come,” he added, according to ANI.

The state assembly elections in Jharkhand are scheduled for later this year as the five-year term of the Hemant Soren-led government ends in January 2025.
