Jaguars-Bills, Commanders-Bengals MNF: Betting tips and open thread for tonight’s game.

Week 3 in the NFL concludes with a doubleheader on Monday Night Football, as the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Buffalo Bills and the Washington Commanders take on the Cincinnati Bengals.

This is the place to discuss the game with other Las Vegas Raiders fans and any betting tips you may have, as the lines below are provided by FanDuel Sportsbook.

Jaguars vs Bills

  • Spread: BUF -5.5
  • Over/Under: 46.5
  • BUF ML: -255
  • JAX ML: +210

Holder’s Picks: BUF -5.5, Over 46.5, BUF ML

It’s a primetime game in Buffalo, which means the Bills Mafia will be out in full force tonight, so I think Josh Allen and company will feed off the crowd’s energy and win convincingly. Plus, the Jaguars haven’t given much to believe in this season, and the Bills are coming off a long week after playing last Thursday night. Buffalo also has a chance to tie Kansas City as the best team in the AFC, and I think they’ll rise to the occasion and win by at least a touchdown.

On the injury report, tight end Evan Ingram (hamstring) is out for Jacksonville, while running back Tank Bigsby (shoulder), safety Darnell Savage (quadriceps) and wide receiver Tim Jones (foot) are questionable. Meanwhile, the Bills will be without linebacker Terrel Bernard (pecs) and cornerback Taron Johnson (forearm).

Commanders vs Bengalis

  • Distribution: CIN -7.5
  • Over/Under: 46.5
  • CIN-ML: -360
  • WSH-ML: +290

Holder’s Choices: CIN -7.5, Under 46.5, CIN ML

The Commanders won a flukey game last week where they didn’t even score a touchdown, while the Giants lost their kicker early and couldn’t make a PAT. Also, Washington’s defense is very suspect and Cincinnati is coming off a much better performance at Kansas City. Granted, the Bengals still haven’t looked good this season and are 0-2, but to me this feels like their “get right” game where Joe Burrow gets back to playing like the Joe Burrow we’ve come to know for the past few years.

Defensive end and former Raider Clelin Ferrel (knee) is out on the injury report, while the Commanders have cornerback Emmanuel Forbes (thumb) listed as questionable. The Bengals have tight end Tanner Hudson (knee) and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (hamstring) out, while defensive tackle BJ Hill (hamstring) is questionable. Safety Von Bell (back) and defensive tackle Kris Jenkins (thumb) are questionable.
