Man accused of sexual exploitation of minor gets different plea

RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA) – The man accused of sexually exploiting a minor changed his plea in federal court Monday.

Oscar Martinez-Olson, 33, pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor.

In the statement of facts in the case, Martinez-Olson admitted that between December 2020 and March 2023, he enticed two minors under the age of 12 to engage in sexually explicit conduct via the social media app Snapchat.

Martinez-Olson faces a minimum of 15 years in prison for his crime.
