Dodge Co. Officer Charged in Child Sex Crimes Investigation

DODGE COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) – A Dodge County sheriff’s deputy has been arrested on child sex crimes charges following an investigation by the GBI.

According to the GBI, Marquis Clark, 27, of Eastman, is charged with possession of child pornography, sexual exploitation of children and violation of oath of office.

According to the GBI, the same investigation led to the arrest of Denzay “Kalia” Clark, 23, also of Eastman, on charges of possession of child pornography, sexual exploitation of children and providing obscene material to minors.

GBI agents launched an investigation after being contacted by Dodge County Sheriff Brian Robinson on September 4.

Robinson asked the agency to investigate allegations that an officer had inappropriate contact with a minor.

Both Marquis Clark and Denzay Clark were booked into the Dodge County Jail.
