ANF ​​takes tough action against drug mafia

ATTACK (SEPTEMBER 24) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 16 kg of drugs worth Rs 3.2 million and arrested 10 suspects in Attock during an active crackdown on drug mafia across the country, an ANF headquarters spokesman said on Tuesday.

He reported that in two operations on Lalazar Road in Rawalpindi, 69 grams of hashish were recovered from two suspects arrested near a university.

2.4kg of hashish was found on a woman driving a van near Motorway Toll Plaza in Islamabad.

50 grams of ice was found on a suspect who was arrested near a university in Attock.

600 grams of ice was found on a suspect who was in a net near a university in Faisalabad.

During a raid at a college in Faisalabad, 300 grams of hashish and 200 grams of ice were recovered from a suspect.

A drug dealer arrested near Shehbaz Chowk in Quetta was found with 940 grams of hashish.

All arrested suspects confessed to supplying drugs to students of educational institutions.

The spokesperson further reported that during an operation, 1040 grams of heroin was recovered from a suspect arrested on Canal Road Lahore.

450 grams of ice was found in a parcel booked for Bahrain at a courier office in Lahore.

360 grams of heroin was recovered from a suspect arrested on Walton Road in Lahore, while 9 kg of hashish was recovered from a suspect arrested near Jamshoro bus stop in Sindh.

Cases have been filed against the arrested suspects under the Drug Control Act and further investigations are underway.
