Video shows Oran Routh, son of Trump assassination suspect, being arrested by FBI agents on child sex abuse charges

(WGHP) — A video shared with FOX8 Wednesday night shows the moment the son of a man accused of killing former President Donald Trump was arrested.

Oran Rought was arrested this week on federal charges of possessing child sexual abuse images after authorities searched his Greensboro, North Carolina, home “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation,” an FBI official said in court documents.

According to court documents, investigators seized multiple electronic devices and found hundreds of child sexual abuse files.

He is accused of possessing and receiving child abuse material.

Oran Routh’s father is Ryan Routh, who is accused in the attempted assassination of Trump on a golf course in Florida earlier this month.

Ryan Routh was charged Tuesday with the attempted murder of a leading presidential candidate.

No attorney for Oran Routh was listed in court documents. Phone messages for Oran Routh and family members listed in public documents were not immediately returned.
