KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A Kingston man and former TikToker faces life in prison after being convicted in federal court on nine counts related to child pornography and attempting to entice minors into unlawful sexual activity.

According to the Department of Justice, Christopher Edward Allen33, was convicted Wednesday by a federal jury on nine charges, including:

  • Three counts of attempted enticement of a minor to engage in unlawful sexual activity,
  • One count of producing child pornography,
  • Two counts of attempted production of child pornography,

  • One count of transmitting obscene material.

Allen is scheduled to be sentenced on February 6, 2025. He faces a maximum prison sentence of life, the Justice Department explained.

During the three-day trial, prosecutors presented evidence that Allen used multiple social media platforms to identify minors online and entice them via social media or texting apps to engage in sexual acts and send nude photos of himself while they were engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to a Justice Department news release.

The DOJ explained that in two cases, Allen paid minors for nude photos of himself, which he later emailed to himself with the victim’s name in the subject line. He also allegedly sent sexually explicit images of himself to minors via social media, the DOJ said.

In one case, the DOJ said, Allen met a minor at the restaurant where he worked, added them on social media and began communicating with them. When police became aware of the messages, an officer, with the permission of the child’s parents, assumed the minor’s identity on social media two days later. That day, Allen was arrested at a Kingston park after arriving with the intention of meeting the minor, the DOJ said.

6 News previously reported that Allen, a fast food worker known for his TikTok videos, was arrested in April 2022 during an undercover sting when he attempted to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex. He was later charged in 2023.

The FBI and the Ninth Judicial District of Tennessee Attorney General’s Office investigated the case that led to Allen’s indictment and subsequent conviction.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. For more information about Project Safe Childhood, visit www.justice.gov/psc.
