What you will do:

As a CACI-SOAS Multi Disciplined Language Analyst (SIGINT MDLA) (Russian), you will serve as a key member of a threat assessment and strategic planning team in support of Task Force 40-25 and direct support of the US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) . ), the Theater Special Operations Commands and other strategic partners within the Special Operations Forces Emerging Threat, Operations and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) enterprise. You will provide direct intelligence support for targeting, planning and policy development for complex projects. You will provide SIGINT and CYBER analytics and target development and conduct reporting and assessments to support readiness, operational planning, operations and innovation initiatives. Through SIGINT and CYBER analysis, you contribute to the development of new solutions, processes and standards while communicating with parties outside your organization, the interagency and its community of interest (COI). You will be responsible for providing accurate, relevant and timely SIGINT analysis, target development and assessments, and you will coordinate and integrate all relevant input and data from analysts supporting the project. You will be responsible for mentoring, coaching, and training less experienced employees within the Modernization Analyses, Assessment, and Planning Functional Group (MAAP) (I3C) and within the SOFETOPS enterprise within the technical area of ​​expertise of SIGINT and CYBER. You will initiate new SIGINT and CYBER requirement processes, organize and implement program methodologies, and ensure input from other functional groups and technical staff are coordinated.

More about this role:

  • Provides senior-level specialized expertise in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) analysis to acquire, produce, and operate standard and non-standard IMINT products in support of the SOFETOPS mission. Provides scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) analyzes of foreign basic and applied research and engineering, prototyping, design, technology transfer, developmental and operational testing, military fieldwork, and integration of SIGINT technologies that impact U.S. and foreign military capabilities. Identifies current vulnerabilities and characterizes emerging threats to the government while providing recommendations for countering current and future associated threats.
  • Conducts needs assessments, S&TI research and analysis, and produces completed S&TI assessments on emerging and disruptive technologies with the potential to impact U.S. military operations.
  • Identifies technical capabilities and performance characteristics of foreign SIGINT systems.
  • Performs analysis of R&D processes and organizations associated with target SIGINT systems.
  • Prepares and delivers S&TI products in support of Department of Defense concepts, capability development, and acquisition customers. These products include subject briefs, intelligence briefs, threat modules, threat briefings, and technical memoranda.
  • Collaborates with I3C and embedded intelligence analysts to enrich and supplement analytical insight and intelligence production efforts.
  • Collaborates and coordinates deliverables across DoD and IC agencies and organizations across the S&TI Enterprise.
  • Provides digital and analog analysis support, analyzing commercial devices to help determine how they function or should function, which aids in their characterization.
  • Identifies trends in threat development to anticipate future capabilities and reduce costs to government.

You bring these qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmentalized Information Security Clearance with CI Poly
  • A bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, an associate degree and seven years of experience, or nine years of relevant work experience. Candidates with five years of directly applicable experience are also eligible.
  • Minimum three years of experience in operational coordination roles with responsibility within an O-5 or higher command at the tactical, operational or strategic level or while supporting a DoD contract of comparable size and scope.
  • Experience with targeted analysis of signals intelligence and organizing global intelligence operations.
  • Working knowledge of the tools, methods and concepts of portals and other real-time or near real-time knowledge management systems.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.

These qualifications would be nice to have:

  • Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations.
  • Must work independently with limited government supervision and function effectively as part of a team in a collaborative work environment.
  • Certifications: SCRUM Master Course; GSM, UMTS and CDMA mobile collection certification; Project management; Digital Network Intelligence Course; Network+, Security plus+, Ethical Hacker, Analytics 101, Analytical Integrity and Standards Group; Defense Strategic Debriefing Course; SOCOM SIGINT operator course

The suggested salary range for this position is:
