Växjö’s Nätverk D: A criminal force

In Växjö, Sweden, a criminal network known as Nätverk D has gained notoriety for its involvement in violent acts on behalf of other gangs.

This group, based in Araby district, has been linked to at least a dozen such incidents, according to local police.

On Thursday, prosecutors are expected to charge a man linked to Nätverk D for a murder that took place last year.

Despite the allegations, the suspect denies any wrongdoing.

The network has not only taken control of the local drug trade, but also acts as a hired gun for other criminal organizations across the country.

This has led to comparisons with the infamous “Dödspatrullen” or “Death Patrol”.

“Community leaders, like Bakhtiar, emphasize the need for parental involvement to prevent youth from turning to crime, and emphasize the broader social impact of such networks.
