Hamas terrorists kill Gaza’s mother after she refuses to give charity funds

Islam Hijazi seen as part of a Heal Palestine video

Hamas terrorists on Thursday killed Islam Hijazi – program director of the organization Heal Palestine, which works on medical support in the Strip – near a hospital in Khan Younis after she refused to hand over charity funds she raised to the terror group.

According to eyewitnesses, three masked Hamas terrorists stopped Hijazi’s car on Thursday night and fired about 90 bullets at her as she was on her way to visit patients. Gazan reports noted that the motive for the killing was the takeover by Hamas operatives of large portions of the aid and funds entering the Gaza Strip through donations.

“Islam was a mother of two young children, a humane woman with the highest level of ethics and professionalism. She deliberately stayed in Gaza to help others. She always said, ‘I’m staying here to help our people,’” the NGO said. said in a statement after the killing.

Iyad Khader, a resident of Gaza, wrote on social media after the killing: “A mafia has recently been established in the southern part of the Gaza Strip to loot, kill, steal and terrorize the residents. War must be declared on them immediately.”

“This is not the first such case,” said Hussein Jamal, a Gaza political researcher. “The truth is that civilians are being killed every day and no one is talking about it. Hijazi was unfortunately known; otherwise no one would have known the circumstances or details of her death.”
