However, Beeler pleaded guilty on September 20 to two counts of sexual exploitation of a child – possession. When the plea was entered, the remaining charges were dismissed, court records show.

Police initially arrested Beeler on February 29. He was released March 1 on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond. He will be sentenced on December 6 at 8:15 am.

Police launched an investigation after the Colorado Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received information about the distribution of child sexual abuse material from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to a news release from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.

They executed a search warrant at Beller’s home in the 1700 block of Eddy Court in Longmont on Oct. 26.

During the search, they seized several electronic devices. They served additional arrest warrants on the internet provider for the uploaded data, finding multiple files in violation of child sexual exploitation laws.

Assisting agencies include the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office, the Boulder Police Department, the Longmont Department of Public Safety and the Longmont SWAT team.
