‘Saturday Night Live’ cast members on tour 2024: Where to buy tickets

On Saturday, September 28, “Saturday Night Live” officially begins its highly anticipated 50th season.

During the half-century that this venerated variety show has been on the air, it has redefined the rules of comedy, garnered 103 Emmy Awards, and catapulted countless Not Ready For Primetime players to stardom.

Well, to be honest, we did a bit of counting.

A total of 167 (!) cast members and repertoire players have officially joined the show’s ensemble as of September 2024, sometime between Season 1 and Season 50.

And since they are all comedians, quite a few of them will be taking their talents on the road this year and next.

Based on our findings, Chevy Chase will screen ‘National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation’ at venues across North America in November and December, Sarah Silverman already has a massive stand-up tour underway, Martin Short will take the stage with Steve Martin on their ‘ Dukes of Funnytown Tour’ next month, Seth Meyers regularly headlines a residency at New York City’s Beacon Theater, along with performances from John Oliver and David Spade throughout the year.

Heck, even Will Ferrell is playing a show with Swedish House Mafia in Chicago in October.

Additionally, in December, former writer Simon Rich will perform “All In,” a Broadway play based on his short stories, starring John Mulaney, Fred Armisen, Jimmy Fallon, Aidy Bryant, Chloe Fineman, Tim Meadows and more.

Don’t forget February 16’s rumored, star-studded Radio City SNL extravaganza.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

If it’s always been your dream to catch an ‘SNL’ hero of your own – no matter which era is your favorite – here’s how to catch 39 of the 167 ‘SNL’ alumni live, wherever you are, including a senator (Al Franken) and an Oscar winner (Robert Downey Jr.).
