Three New Bedford men arrested after undercover child exploitation operation

Dartmouth police said three New Bedford men have been arrested following an undercover operation to combat the commercial sexual exploitation of minors.

According to police, they worked undercover and met with suspects in the area.

As a result of the operation, 36-year-old Ernest Santos, 20-year-old Dominic Medeiros and 50-year-old David Detorres were arrested, according to police.

According to law enforcement officials, they are charged with sexual conduct for money with a child under 18, enticing a child under 16 and attempting to commit a crime.
