President of the Longshore Union who promised to ‘paralyze’ the United States, owns a 76 foot yacht, Bentley, is paid almost 1 MILLION a year, the body of his co-defendant in the RICO case was found decomposing in the trunk found (VIDEO)

Americans have been warned to stock up on food, gas and essentials for several weeks. Many claim that there will be massive shortages of the items we use every day due to a threatened ILA (International Longshore Association) strike.

On September 27, US Representative Marjorie Taylor-Greene warned of the consequences of a strike in a tweet. Representative Greene asserts, “It is very important to understand how critical this is considering that America now has a $36 billion dollar food trade deficit for the first time in our nation’s history.

Furthermore, the Biden-Harris administration and Congress’s out-of-control spending have pushed inflation so high that many Americans cannot afford a quality of life.

I think this situation is serious and, depending on whether they strike and how long it lasts, a crisis could arise during the elections, the holidays and winter.

Retailers have tried to stock up in preparation, but it is always smart to be personally prepared just in case.”

Yesterday, the International Longshore Association, led by a union boss who threatens to “cripple” the US economy, which many economists warn is already in recession, endorsed Kamala Harris.

Today the ILA announced that they will follow through on their threat to strike.

CNBC shared some of the key points of the mass strike, including:

  • 50,000 longshoremen from the ILA union walked off their jobs at 12:01 a.m. ET Tuesday at East Coast and Gulf Coast ports from New England to Texas after failing to reach an agreement with the port owner on a new contract. This was the union’s first strike since 1977.
  • Between 43% and 49% of all U.S. imports and billions of dollars in trade pass through the U.S. East Coast and Gulf ports every month.
  • The International Longshoremen’s Association, the largest maritime union in North America, said in a statement Tuesday from ILA President Harold Daggett that it wants an increase of $5 per hour per year over six years, all royalties for containers handled and strict language against automation. The union had on Monday rejected an offer from port management group USMX that included a pay increase of almost 50% over six years.

Truck drivers interviewed about the dock workers’ strike are being warned: “This is the last thing we need right now.” With the current recession not being talked about, truck drivers are concerned about the effect of the ILA strike.

So, what do we know about ILA President Harold Daggett, who appears to hold the cards to cripple the US economy?

The New York Post reported on Mr. Daggett today, and their report on the ILA boss was less than flattering.

Fiery union boss Harold Daggett has long cast himself as a staunch advocate for workers, even as he lived in luxury, owned a yacht and drove a Bentley – and fought alleged ties to the mafia.

Wearing a polo shirt with a thick gold medallion around his neck, the 78-year-old Daggett, who as president of the International Longshoremen’s Association is leading the port strikes stretching from Maine to Texas, was prone to theatrical flourishes in a September interview as he prepared prepare for the strike.

“They’ll be soon,” Daggett said, grabbing his neck in a choking gesture. ‘I will paralyze you. I will paralyze you and you have no idea what that means. Nobody does that.”

According to the New York Post, Daggett worked at the ILA for 57 years and took over as president in 2011. Last year he received $728,000 in compensation from the ILA.

He collected another $173,000 as president emeritus of a local union chapter, according to Labor Department records.

According to Zillow and NJ Property Records, he lives in a 7,136-square-foot home valued at $1.7 million on a 10-acre lot in Sparta, New Jersey.

Watch:

Elon Musk may have just helped the world better understand who Mr. Daggett is with a simple retweet from Arena Magazine editor Max Meyer, who tweeted just two hours ago:

Harold Daggett, the ILA boss who promised to “paralyze” the United States, owns a 70-foot yacht, a Bentley, and is paid more than $900,000.

He was acquitted on RICO charges after the key witness against him, mobster Lawrence Ricci, was found decomposing in a trunk in New Jersey.

Meyer’s tweet included two screenshots with stunning information about the man the US government believes has ties to the mafia.

Blue collar references

Mr Daggett is a figure whose long trade union career has been shrouded in controversy. A third
generation ILA member, the dock worker worked for the union for 57 years and became the
international president in July 2011.

Despite his stellar labor credentials, the union baron earned $728,000 last year from the
ILA, plus another $173,000 as president emeritus of a local union chapter, Politico reported.
He previously owned a 75-foot yacht, the Obsession, and was noticed by his riding members
in a Bentley, according to The New York Times.

The Justice Department, which reportedly lost two cases against Mr. Daggett, charged him
because he is an ‘associate’ of the Genovese crime family – one of the infamous ‘Five Families’ of the American Mafia.

In another screenshot, Meyer included the following information about the ILA boss:

Mr. Daggett, who was charged with racketeering in 2005, took the witness stand and portrayed himself as a gang
target, despite evidence against him from a mafia enforcer who said he was under mafia control,
reported the New York Times.

During that trial, one of Mr. Daggett’s co-defendants, a famous gangster named Lawrence Ricci,
disappeared. His decomposing body was found in the trunk of a car outside a New Jersey restaurant
weeks later, with the murder still unsolved.

Despite his union being a historical symbol of organized crime’s grip on union members
depicted in the 1954 film “On the Waterfront,” Mr. Daggett was acquitted in both cases.
The union leader has previously criticized the Waterfront Commission, which was created to combat mafia control
the port, calling the accusations of mafia influence “total bullshit –” and a “dark, ugly attack on Italian Americans.”

Musk’s reaction to this shocking revelation was summed up in one word: “Wow!”

This is how Joe Biden responded today when reporters asked him about the strike, as his wife Jill, who has apparently given up protection from the media, quickly walks away:

Elon Musk probably speaks for the majority of Americans who are tired of watching the dues of hardworking union members enrich their fat bosses who make behind-the-scenes deals with Democrats to support them and keep their campaign coffers full while they spend every day fuck Americans.
